1 day post-op and home!
Hey Girls I am a PRINCESS! I went in yesterday (1/3) and just got home 30 minutes ago. I feel GREAT! Even the nurses couldn't believe I was doing so well.
I got NO sleep the night before. Took 20 mg. Valium pre-op. It hit me just as I was being wheeled out of the holding room. Never knew anything until I woke in recovery and almost  on my anesthesiologist. He didn't know he could move that fast!
Asked for the PCA and foley cath out at 2 am and walked the halls. Urinated at 4 am. Ate at 8am. Started spiking at temp at noon, but after lots of  I felt better. Got really tired around 3pm. Begged doc to let me go at 6:30pm. He let me go since I was 
I couldn't have asked for better care from my nurse friends. They were great. The OB co-workers even let my DD come down and sit with them most of the day.
I am so glad this went so well. Thanks for all your prayers and support. LOVE YA LOTS! Will write more later.

Shelley I'm sooo glad everything went well for you! It's true, isn't it? The waiting is the worst part. Now be sure to get lots of  , plenty of fluids and take short  s. You are going to do great!

 Welcome home Shelley. Glad to hear everything went well. REST, REST, REST...drink LOTS of water and juice AND stay away from carbonated beverages and gasy foods for awhile
