Thanks Jersey Girl!

It's good to know that others out there deal with the same 'stuff'........ 1 Month is just the tip of the iceberg, so tread lightly and still don't overdo! I'm looking forward to reaching that month mark!

Re: 4 weeks post op and I really thought I would feel better then this :(

Had mine on February 6th. I dont have much cramping, but still some light pinkish, mostly when I wipe. Healing well at the cuff- the pink is from some granulation at cuff) My ovaries went last September, so I kind of thought I was going to have an easier time of it. But truth is, Im tired, restless, a little scared about having sex (doc said yes, for next week). It's scary for me to feel so out of control of my body... never know what thing it will do next or wont do. Hang in there, ladies.

: ) hugs.

PS: MTM... I wanted to let you know I understand how you feel. When you said you never know what thing your body will or won't do next... I thought the same. Every day seems different and brings different sensations and energy. It's quite a rollercoaster. I guess we can only hope for more good days than not! ; ) Fingers crossed for a brighter future!

I went and got myself a couple of stretchy t-shirt material dresses and skirts, I cannot wear jeans at ALL right now, I'm still swollen and hurt even after a month. I also got some ballet flats because I am way too tired to even consider heels.

I have ballet flats too. I have finally reckoned the fact rather than a 4-6 week recovery, it is more like 6-8. That is where I am heading in my thought process. Geez, never expected it to be so long.

@Annakat, thank you for your support. I really, really need it. And still do, as it seems most of us do!
@JerseyGirl, maybe you have water hanging around your ankles from not moving around enough? Just guessing.

@Annakat, this morning I woke up with redder color. I have been told this is normal. Yesterday there was nothing! Seems more of this rollercoaster ride for us for a while more. Sex? What's that? lol I guess when we are ready, it wont feel so scary for us. Time. It all takes time. On the jeans or not jeans front, I am back into my jeans, but I look amazingly-- BAD in them. More time, I suppose :-)

Jersey, I never thought this would all still be so hard at this point either, and note we had our surgeries on the same day. Thank you all for your kindness. Big Hugs

I'm laughing and crying at the same time. Please let it end. I also thought about fluid accumulating around ankles. Luckily . no swelling as of yet. Think it may be time for me to get moving. Thank you.

No burning or pain. Just heaviness like I strapped on a 5 pond ankle weight. Not warm to the touch either.
