Re: Advice please

It iis still early in the healing. If you are having post traumatic stress and post natal depression, you are getting a double whammy. I am sure your counselors are telling you also that it is early. You are also recovering from major, major events and to feel physically weak is totally normal. So give yourself a break and just acknowledge that you have gone through an enormous amount of trauma. Let yourself heal and understand how long it may take.

Re: Advice please--emerg hyst after c-section

I am so very sorry you had to experience this. I am glad to hear that your baby is doing well. You are going through so much right now: the emotions that come with having a baby, the surgery, the near loss of life. Give yourself time to grieve, cry, and be angry. It is very normal. Lean on others. It looks like you are seeing counselors, which is great.
I nearly died after my 2nd son was born. I had to be transfused 4 different times. The physical recovery from the blood loss alone was about 6 months. Emotionally, there are still days that I find myself "reliving" the night it happened. Not so much with tears and depression, but with thankfulness that I made it. I found it made me realize how grateful I am for each day and how thankful I am for all the little things. I rarely take one day for granted and appreciate each moment with my kids. This has stayed with me, and it happened 7 years ago. I did not seek counseling, and wish I would have. I do promise it gets easier. I did not have my hysterectomy at that time, so I can't imagine all that on top of what I was feeling.
I will pray for your healing both physically and emotionally.
