Everything is a GO! :)

I went to the Dr.'s to day for my pre-op and take her a little gift of thanks. Which she appreciated.

I had my list of ???s and she answered them all. Some she had already answered during our conversation.
I asked about HRT and she said b/c she's going to do a dvH --
TVH-BSO, which means she's taking everything including the ovaries and sending me home on estrogen.

The worst part is going to be the bowel prep but I now understand why, the prep helps with less post-op gas. (I still got some Gas-X just in case), so I guess there will be minimal swelling.

I'm just hoping that I'll be one of the lucky ones that loses the weight after it's all said and done. (and back to reality) LOL

I was nervous going to the pre-op but left feeling better about everything.

7 days and counting.

Re: Everything is a GO! :)

Glad your pre-op went well.

I did a bowel prep as well - it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Of course the solution they have you drink does not taste good (anything in a bottle that has to say "tasty" on it usually isn't!) Just make sure you are at home when you start it....

Good luck. Ask more questions if they come up....And don't worry if you get emotional. That is normal. Just get on the site and vent....We are here for you....
