Having some trouble * not sure if normal

Hi, I am 3 weeks post op today. I seem to be having a slew of new issues and am not sure if this is all normal or not? I'm having headaches, dizziness, extreme fatigue, pale face, light headiness, anxiety, difficulty taking a deep breath, heart palpatations, very low BP for me. Mine usually runs 128/80 - 134/94 or so and this morning it was 102/54 and ever after walking outside for over 20mins I could only get it to come up to 106/66, but as soon as I sat back down...it goes right back down.

Had a very bad bladder infection after surgery, not sure it went away fully cuz my bladder is now hurting again, and my urethra hurts too, but not went I pee it hurts when i dont have to go...so frustrating!

I just noticed the BP today cuz i've not being paying any attention to it, however the other symptoms have been around for sever days now. The family and I went shopping sat and I felt very tired but went anyways, and was more then extremely worn out. Then sun we went and got groceries and I nearly came to passing out before we left. I didn't lift anything what so ever just walked slowly both days.

I'm also having very horrible restless legs...some times deep muscle pains in them, but not as bad as before my surgery. I'm having trouble sleeping, and can't hardly wake up after I do get to sleep and I'm the only one who can get my little ones up for school n out the door on time for the bus. I just feel very pooped n worn out been struggling for months now.

Just not sure if all this stuff is normal recovery...along with my balling all day, I feel very frustrated, irritable, and unsure

Re: Having some trouble * not sure if normal

I highly recommend that you call and speak with your surgeon. They are there to answer your questions. You asking these questions is not a bother to them. You need to make sure that you are healing properly. You know your body better than anyone so if you feel something is not normal usually it isn't. Good luck and I hope that you will be able to get some answers soon as to what is causing these issues for you. Take care.

You should definitely speak with your doctor. It sounds like you could also anemic and may need an iron supplement.

Hope you feel better soon!

When you mention muscle pains in legs and being out of breath that concerns me. Have you been checked for blood clots?

Re: Having some trouble * not sure if normal

I'm 3 weeks post op tomorrow, I tend to have low-ish blood pressure and have noticed I need extra fluids right now to keep from feeling lightheaded. But otherwise I'm feeling okay...

I do know that leg cramps, breathlessness, palplitations and exhaustion can be signs of anemia. I know you have already called the doctor which is ideal. When I was anemic I felt like was dying and had all of those symptoms. I hope its a matter of simple vitamins to fix for you... feel better!!

Re: Having some trouble * not sure if normal

Some of these symptoms could be associated with the menopause, but there is a wide range of different features.
Also, you still have at least one ovary, so this is less likely.

I think a good check up with the doctor is needed here to diagnose and set your mind at rest
