Re: Crying

Everyone does not even know how much you just helped me! I can totally relate to blondfour's questions! I feel like I've been on the verge of tears for a week and I haven't even had the surgery yet! Scheduled for Monday and I think I have everything ready but I'm still worried about my DH staying home with me all week and I'm going to be an emotional wrech! Not even sure why, I've been done with kids and my DH had a vasectomy 14 years ago - it's not like I didn't know I wasn't having any more kids! Guess it's just part of being a woman! Good Luck!

Re: Crying

And for the Grand Finale...the Feminine Product Bonfire!!! Make sure to include all perma-stained clothing, sheets and towels!! They'll be able to see it from the moon! I love this idea...first time I smiled all day...Love the Sox too but am a HUGE Pat's fan, and my parents first (blind) date was a Bruins game...We are all about our sports teams!

Re: Crying

think we all get blindsided by this surgery. I have to sometimes make myself laugh or I'll cry. I come up with the dumbest stuff just to get me through. Laughter good for everybody. All the best to you mdpcamper.

Re: Crying

Whatever it takes to handle the emotions that come with this major decision, you are entitled to do. Everybody is different. I know people who had 2 heavy periods and decided on surgery. Then there's me who went 20+ years holding on to my uterus because it was mine. I cried after the appointment was made, in the hospital, etc. but I considered them cleansing cries. Remember, it's your party you can cry if you want to!

Re: Crying

good-everybody needs a laugh to go along with the hundreds of tears that get shed. You will be relieved once surgery is over. Waiting is the pits.

Re: Crying

Hmmm, I was sitting here and maybe someone here has an answer for me. When having DvH how do they remove the uterus as well as fibroids? This has left me pondering I have read tons of information even watched video and nowhere have I saw how they remove the organs.
