Re: Crying

I cried two days before surgery, while I was being prepped for surgery, as soon as I woke up from surgery...in fact as I was coming out of the anesthesia I remember looking up at the nurse and I just started to cry...I heard her say to the doctor, she's crying...I started apologizing and she said, "Honey, we just removed your uterus, you have every right to cry if you want to!!" and she gave me a wink. There are still days that I cry for no reason...so is crying normal?? ABSOLUTELY!!! Cry all you want and we'll be here to cry with you!!! :-) HUGS!!!

Re: Crying

don't worry about crying before surgery, it still continues after surgery. It feels good. Your releasing emotions that none of us expected at this level.Hugs to you!

Re: Crying

through encouragement and laughter on this site, dealing with stuff has made it a lot easier. I do not know what I would have done without it. Thank you everyone!

Re: Crying

Jersey I nominate you to schedule and coordinate the bonfire...seeing as you are already on "the other side"...so to speak. Who wants to volunteer to choreograph the "Swelly Bellies" Flash mob? Anyone?? I'll handle the permits...I have lots of friends in law enforcement and government.

Re: Crying

Yesterday, I opted for laugh therapy. I watched standup on Netflix but I was laughing so hard my tummy was hurting so I had to chuckle internally. Not sure that was a good idea since that's where the sutures are...

Re: Crying

I watch reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond and Joan Knows Best on the WE channel. Steve Harvey on Family Feud makes me laugh. Molly and Mike. Laughter getting me through this-nobody made me laugh until I had my surgery! People email me funny stuff. Guess I should go to Comedy Central.
