Husband help/sharing bed

Hi, I have another question....this is about my husband, who asked me to ask....

He wants to know if we can share a bed? We have a queen sized bed.

He is so concerned and wants to be as helpful as he can. He also wants to make sure that I do everything that I supposed to when I have the surgery and after.

Thank you.

Re: Husband help/sharing bed

Yes, you can share a bed. That was a cute little question. Had to smile. Husband sounds like a gem.

Re: Husband help/sharing bed

Yes you can definitely share the bed. If him being there or the movement of the bed when he moves is uncomfortable for you, you may prefer him to sleep on the couch. I liked having my DH there. My first night home he slept with his hand touching the top of my head all night. He's never slept like that before or since. So sweet. There was no snuggling or spooning for us for months though because I was sore. Your DH is very thoughtful to ask you about this.

Re: Husband help/sharing bed

Just after the surgery, I loved to snuggle up (spoon) my hubby because it helped me sleep on my side... He acted as my body pillow....

Re: Husband help/sharing bed

Oh, yes, he is a keeper....and I feel lucky having him be there for me and by my side....I lucked out when I met him, fell in love, and a year and half later we married. He has been there for me when my mother was very ill and after she passed away. I know it is hard for him but he is the most loving and supportive man that I have ever known. Thank you for answering my question.....

Re: Husband help/sharing bed

That's so sweet. I recommend the e-book they have it's mister hyster or the other way around. It helped my husband with all the questions he had. He is as nervous as I am and I know he feels better after reading it. Good Luck.

You are a lucky lady! My husband is also very supportive and has been an angel through this process. If anything, he is over protective but I'll take it! Take care and good luck with your surgery and recovery.

Re: Husband help/sharing bed

I was happier to keep sleeping arrangements as "normal". He was careful, but the snoring ox did roll over and bop my belly a time or two - nothing horrible, but if you're terribly tender you may want a belly pillow.
