Actually, yes. I feel empty and less feminine. Still dealing with that part of surgery. It may always be like that - I don't know. I just allow myself these feelings - it is pretty normal. Got a coupon for tampons in the mail today - and felt a twinge of sadness.

Anyway, before the surgery and before I new I had the cyst and fibroids, my tummy was sticking out a bit. I thought that my late mom's tummy did the same thing so I was just the same. Turns out it was that cyst pushing forward. It also pushed my bladder, bowl, uterus, and other organs around. My bladder is MUCH happier with that thing gone. The cyst could have caused bowel problems, as well as other organ problems, if it had not been removed. I was on a pretty fast track to get that out of there - 10 days between visit with the gyn onc and surgery.
