Re: Best Wishes to our March 14 Princesses

Thank you for the prayers. I am looking forward to getting this behind me.

Now if only the Miralax bowel prep would kick in....I have already had 64oz. Of gaterade w/ miralax and it's not working. Does miralax take longer than other preps?

Yikes....getting nervous....any suggestions?

Arrival time is 7am!

Can't wait for this to be over. I'm hungry and have a 10:30 time.

That Miralax/Gatorade thing was the worst. I just gave up on the last 2 ounces. I could tolerate no more. It seems to be just starting to kick in.

Re: Best Wishes to our March 14 Princesses

Thank you all so much for your support, it is SO appreciated. My surgery time is 9:45am, but we live 2 hours away from the hospital so we have to leave by 5:30am to be there for the 7:45am prep hours. Ugh. I should be in bed but I can't sleep...just took my shower and did the CHG pre-op wipes. OMG those things are horrible! I have so much itching and burning that I have huge red scratch marks up and down my legs! I even rinsed it off after I started itching and it still wont stop. Anyone have any experience w/this??
I think when they said "don't shave" I thought they meant don't shave the areas that will be operated on...but apparently they meant anywhere, including your legs and armpits--I think that's why I am having a huge reaction from it.
Anyway, thanks again for the support. I will see you all in the castle on the other side!
