Re: Best Wishes to our March 15 Princesses

So Kay, what prep are you having to do? How long until it kicked in, and how bad is it? I woke up with a hemorrhoid today, sorry, graphic! And now I'm even more not excited to start the prep in an hour! Got some comfort measures ready to go, but still.... Embarrassing I'm sure, but any last thoughts?

Re: Best Wishes to our March 15 Princesses

Full bottle of miralax in gatorade, had to drink in 1 hour, it started working in 2 hours, I already know I'm having a bowel resection with the hysterectomy tomorrow

Aw! Easier prep, harder surgery! Sorry Bug! I've got a gallon of GoLytely, which s really miralax on steroids lol, taking forever, I'm already full, and I've barely made a dent! They make you mix it with so much water to ensure hydration, so pleeeease make sure you are drinking TONS of water today!

Tomorrow's the big day! A little nervous, but ready to "git er done"!! I only have to do an enema for my prep, not looking forward to that!! Praying for all my fellow princesses out there! See ya on the other side!

This bowel prep sounds like fun......Not!
I didn't have to do that myself, although I was able to go to the toilet a couple of hours before my number came up. Nobody even asked me about it.

Best wishes for the morrow, princesses.
See you on the other side.

Really hoping all of today's new Princesses are resting comfortably and as pain free as possible after their surgeries. Follow all the advice from the Princesses on here and rest, rest, rest! It really is the very best thing for you.
