Lump in abdomen.

I'm one year post surgery and overall doing well. I noticed a lump/bulge in my upper abdomen several months ago. It's firm and feels a little tender when I press against it, but it's not painful. It is less noticeable when I'm lying down, and when I haven't eaten in a while (first thing in the morning). It's more noticeable at the end of the day and if I'm constipated.

My doctor did a CT last fall to look at it, but didn't see anything on the CT scan. He didn't seem concerned.

Just knowing that it's there is bugging me though. I can't help but worry that I might have to do surgery again. My first one last year was a doozie (extremely large fibroid, huge incision).

Any thoughts? Anyone experience something similar?

Re: Lump in abdomen.

I have not had this happen. I wonder if it is some kind of muscle spasm? Maybe a heating pad will help it. If you have any pain then I would definitely pursue it. I would keep an eye on it. I would be sure not to get constipated.
