Re: Can't sleep!!!

I wake around this time due to night sweats... Then I can't fall back asleep for awhile. It has been going on since day 3. I have my post op next week and this will be on my list to discuss!

Re: Can't sleep!!!

Same here! My body has night and day totally mixed up. I usually fall asleep around 7am and sleep until 3pm. I have tried so much to fix this but nothing is working.

Re: Can't sleep!!!

This happens to me too. Every night since my surgery I am awake for hours. Can't take HRT, but last night I got mad and took 1 tylenol pm when I woke up. Fell back to sleep and slept until 6:00 this morning. I don't want to rely on them but I am getting so tired of not sleeping at night.

Re: Can't sleep!!!

Hi Ladies, I am also having a terrible time with insomnia. I think it's probably because we lay around so much more during the day. I'm trying not to nap during the day so I can sleep at night. Last night I finally got to sleep at around 4a.m. and woke up at 8a.m. I have never had problems with insomnia so this is very frustrating! I may try the tylenol p.m. I have started working this week on a limited basis and need to sleep at night!

Good luck and hoping for a speedy recovery for all of my sisters.

Re: Can't sleep!!!

I'm not even sleeping during the day! I left the couch after watching the Dr.s show on tv from 2am to 3am at about 3:30, I took 1 advil pm at 2 and that helped a little. But I woke up at 7:30 when my kids come down stairs to get ready to leave for school, so I havent napped or anything today. I'm not really sleepy either. I did go to store and buy a box of melatolin that is suppose to help with sleep and a bottle of estroven which is suppose to help with hotflashes. So I hope it helps tonight!
If not, guess I will posting again on my ipod touch while laying in the recliner.

Re: Can't sleep!!!

Last night was worse than the first night. took me a melatolin at 10pm hoping I would get sleepy. wide awake kept watching tv in the dark until 12:30am, took 2 advil pms and finally went to bed at 1:30 and sleep soon after, but up again with the kids at 7:30.....

I am worried, if I take these pm pills too often, will it hurt my body somewhere else?

Re: Can't sleep!!!

I'm doing the same thing- up all night and can't hardly nap during the day. My body just can't seem to adjust.
