The problem is that endometriosis can create its own supply of estrogen, something not all doctors realize, so it doesn't necessarily need the estrogen produced by the ovaries to survive.

I read on here endo could still cause problems if estrogen is in fat cells. So, taking out the ovaries would not help if estrogen is in fat cells?
Removing the ovaries may help as it does cut down on the bath of estrogen that can flood the pelvic region each month. But yes, fat cells can produce a type of estrogen.
