Fever Normal?

I took my temp. at 6 p.m. (100.6) took it again at 7 p.m. (100.4) I don't have chills, dizziness, or anything like that.

Called Doc. and she said as long as it's not over 101.5 but take an Ibuprofen and see if that works. I hope this is nothing. :b cause I feel fine.

Anyone else feel feverish after surgery and have it be just healing process?

Re: Fever Normal?

I was at the Doctor on Tuesday.

I had a temp of 99.9 which is high for me since it is always 97.9. Doctor said not to worry unless over 101.

Re: Fever Normal?

I had one off and on. My body hates anesthesia and also reacts to being really weak by inducing a fever- always has. It passed, and always ran pretty low. Just drink more water, and don't push yourself at all :-)

Oh- and I was running in the 99s-low 100s even on continuous Ibuprofen. I"m usually a 97.2, so that's high for me too :-)

If it shoots up, call the dr right away.
