I was also told I could not take vitamin E either for the same reason.

I was still allowed potassium and magnesium.

I actually am given more of a hard time when I ask for refills for that...than anything else! I guess it is hard on your stomach...doesn't bother mine! Someone needs to invent an anti-adenomyosis drug...this is pain like no other.

Re: Anyone have any ideas how to manage pain without NSAIDS?

I cannot take NSAIDS at all due to allergy and I am already on a med that is sever on the liver so that means no tylenol either. I have BAD cramps and these sometimes work for me. Unfortunately, sometimes is the best I can get. You can have sex. It hurts when you cramp, but moves things around and gets the blood out which makes cramps worse. Orgasm is a must for it to work. You can do a hot water bottle or heating bad, or take hot baths, or drink hot fluids. Drink lots of water and stop caffeine as that makes cramping worse. You can try mint teas though they have never worked for me. Blend and drink 75 milliliters of parsley, beet, carrot, and cucumber juices for maximum results. It makes the bleeding heavier at first so PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR first, but it helps the cramps when they are REALLY bad. You can drink fresh ground ginger infused water or you can try cinnamon tea. The hot water bottle, hot baths, and drinking hot water followed by curling into a very tight ball tend to be the most effective for me, but none of them are like IBprofen. I miss IBP.
