What a bonehead move!

Morning everyone!
I'm 5 days post-op from my TLH. I did something really stupid yesterday - well actually 2 stupid things. I ate corned beef and cabbage (attention to the "cabbage") and then thought it would be a good idea to watch Saturday Night Live. Now granted, SNL is nowhere NEAR as funny as it was back in the day - but between the terrible gas from the cabbage and the realization that it REALLY hurts to laugh after you've had a hyst, it was NOT a good night...

Re: What a bonehead move!

I had right to fear the tacos I made for dinner the other night.... I begged my body to just get it out already! LOL, as painful as it is, I have to laugh... I am literally living in fear of certain foods. I passed on the corned beef and cabbage yesterday.... one of my favorite dishes.... it's just not worth the gas pressure on my tender middle!

Re: What a bonehead move!

I had chili on day 7 post op and am now scared to eat it.. I ate cabbage soup a couple days ago and had an extremely uncomfortable night but not nearly as tough as chili night. I keep gas x on hand but it doesn't seem to help much.. never thought I'd have to alter my diet soo much

Try Beano! Take it before you eat stuff that is gassy! I think you will be surprised!
