Urine Woes/Worries

I had my 1 week post op last Friday. I asked them to take a urine sample because I have had pain with urination (but no burning or increased frequency). They said they'd have the results today. I hadn't heard from them this morning so I went and got the drugstore pee on the strip test. I peed and it showed no nitrates but darkish purple for the white blood cells.

Then I get a call from the nurse and she tells me no bacterial growth, so no UTI.

So now I am worried about having white blood cells in my urine...?! And I didn't say anything about the home test to the nurse, although I have no idea why. My brain is definitely foggy.

Re: Urine Woes/Worries

Same for me. Had my lab test at 2 weeks post op and no uti. I got a 2 day treatment anyway when I said it still feels like uti but that didn't change anything either. I'm drinking cranberry juice like crazy. They finally said to go to an er to get it checked if it wasn't a uti. Still debating about that. don't know what to do next. I see the surgeon in a week.

I can definitely relate to the laps in brain functions... I hate forgetting things and not thinking as quickly as i have before.
