It can all be normal. The brown color can signify older blood with can have an odor. Discharge can occur for up to 4-6 weeks.

However, an odor can signify an infection, especially if it has a "fishy" type smell. Do you have a fever at all?

Most likely, yes. It is usually old blood and tissue that gives the foul odor and you might be passing stitches as well. It is best to check with your doctor, however, in case of infection.

I left a message for him. It's not fishy, it's actually the same kind of discharge smell I had prio to surgery on my ligh days of constant bleeding.
