insomnia and bloating waiting for surgery!!

TAH is 9 days away but wish it was tomorrow!!! My uterus is enlarged to the size of a five month pregnant uterus. I have terrible bloating and bad insomnia---anyone else relate??? I don't remember what a "good nights sleep" feels like!!!! Can't wait for surgery!!

Re: insomnia and bloating waiting for surgery!!

I have the same issues. I am about 7 weeks from surgery (pending insurance approval, etc.), and for the past two days I have been very bloated after eating ANYTHING. It's ironic to me that I've been eating less the past week, have cut out caffeine and pretty much cut out alcohol, but I am more bloated and uncomfortable now! Insomnia has been a problem with me for years but has been worse the past few days because I am having to pee every hour or two. I'm figuring my problems (fibroids) are getting worse and am looking forward more and more to the surgery.
