3rd Failed Endometrial Biopsy

Well yesterday my doc tried to do another endometrial biopsy under U/S guidance and could not do it because I have cervical stenosis which would explain why I have more pain but not as much bleeding. He said the plan is to do a D&C on the day of surgery and send to pathology for a frozen section then proceed with the davinici. I am almost feeling like throwing in the towel and going for an abdominal hysterectomy. I just have a feeling that I am a mess in there(my doc said the same) and that I am going to wake up in recovery to find out I had an abdominal hysterectomy. I've had 3 c-sections so it's likely that I have alot of scar tissue - it was very bad with my last c-section. I just don't know what to do - any thoughts?

Re: 3rd Failed Endometrial Biopsy

I had the abdominal and I am doing fine. I am 2 weeks post op. It seems to me as I read everyone's recovery stories that no matter what method is chosen, some have problems and some don't. I had the biopsy and because of my very scarred cervix it was not a good experience. If I had it all to do again, I would choose abdominal over the biopsy.
