Try Again!

I was ready to go in for the TAH Dec. 17th & got cancelled because of a cold. Rescheduled for Jan. 7th & got cancelled again because of sinus infection & cough. Now, I'm just kinda waiting to get well before I re-re-schedule. I'm so......ready to get it over. I'm anemic (cold all the time), tired, and on edge because of having to "stay in waiting". I also have the fibrocysts on the uterus so it needs to be done asap. I guess I've really been lucky because I've never felt like anything was un-normal til the dr. told my about the cysts, now....................... I know the waiting til I get well is best because of the coughing. I've had 3 c-sections so I DO remember the pain. Just pray for me to get fully recovered for the sinus-cough thing and get on with this cloud hanging over me. Thanks. Molly5

Not to sound dumb or anything, but is this "Mowerner2"? If it isn't then sorry.

I'm sorry you had to have your surgery rescheduled twice already, I bet that has to be getting on your nerves. Keep your chin up and I hope everything goes well for ya!

i understand the getting sick thing! i had my surgeon appt yesterday and my pre-op is friday, he said to treat my cold and should be fine by the suirgery, see what the preop decides.
i cant imagine how frustrating it must be for you to cancel twice!! i was afrad theyd reschedule me. and the waiting is terrible!
never did i think id look forward to pain, but waiting is such an emotional pain!
so i invested in a great vaporizer to help get rid of this darn cough
i hope you are better very soon,
and my prayers are with you!

Hi Molly,

I really sympathize with you about your postponed surgeries. The waiting has got to be driving you crazy. Hopefully the next surgery will go off as scheduled.
My surgery is in 10 days and I have come down with a cold. The Dr. thinks I will probably be over it by then but I'm really worried that I won't and they will have to cancel surgery. Everyone at work is sick so there is the possibility of coming down with something else. I try to stay away from them but it's really hard. I think I'm getting paranoid about it. Regardless of the pain, I just want it over with.

Tis the season for colds & flu & sinus infections too. Might wanna take a multivitamin or at least vitamin C, drink plenty of fluids, and get plenty of rest to try and bump up the immune system.

I will keep all you LIWs in that you are well enough to have your surgeries when scheduled.
