Post op check

Hi Sisters,

Day 7

Had post op check today !
Didn't go as well as planned, Although my incisions and belly look good my bladder took quite a beating and need some more needed rest and meds, so another week off work
Didnt need any pain meds today pain level is prob 1 , so i feel pretty good just uncomfortable bladder, and really tired.
Pooped again today ! I didnt think i would ever be so glad to poop but it didnt hurt either WOOHOO!!!!!

This morning i showered and then blow dried my hair!!!
HOLY CRAP, i do this normally every morning so its easy right? WRONG!!!! I felt like i had blow dried twenty heads of hair after washing twenty bodies!
I guess when your body reacts like this it's trying to remind you of what you have been through and these once simple daily tasks that you thought nothing of are very difficult and very tiring .

Gas situation has really calmed down too( another WOOHOO!!!!!)
But these night sweats are needing a bit of getting used to, cause i just cant sleep !!!

Ok enough of me whining, gonna try and get some sleep HOPEFULLY

Goodnight sisters
Sleep well x

Re: Post op check

It does sound like you are doing great apart from the night sweats and lack of sleep. Give your ovary time to wake itself up again as it probably feels like it has been beaten too. Hope you are sleeping like a baby again some time soon ...... zzzzzzzzzzz ...........
