Checklist for hospital bag/etc??

Hi! My LAVH is scheduled for this Thursday morning at 7:30am and i am really getting freaked out! I spent all weekend cleaning my house and getting laundry caught up. The next three days I am going to be working at least 12 hour days to get me caught up there.

Is there a checklist of some sort of items that I must take to the hospital? Plan is for me to be there one night.

Also, what are things I should have out and ready by the recliner and my bed for recovery?? Any must haves??

Re: Checklist for hospital bag/etc??

Guess what? I didn't need ANYTHING. I was there over night. Hospital provided chap stick, shampoo in a cap, moisturizer, deodorant, tooth brush/paste, comb, slipper socks. I was out of it the day of surgery. I slept most of the time. In the middle of the night I started to move around. i wore one hospital gown and wore another one the opposite direction as a robe. I was released @ 12:00 the next day and went home in the clothes that I came in. Make sure you wear baggy comfortable clothes.

Having bottled water at home was very helpful for me. Also, I had to have my laptop and laptop table for my recliner!
