9 wks post op bleeding?

TLH (kept ovaries) had the same point of pain I get when I ovulate, next day I'm noticing some bleeding. Discharge had ended shortly after my 6 week appointment, when doc gave me all clear for everything.

What could this bleeding be? I'm not having any pain other than what felt like ovulation. Sex was normal no pain or bleeding and that was two days ago.

If I had torn my cuff, wouldn't I have felt it in a major way?

THanks ladies! Happy healing!

Re: 9 wks post op bleeding?

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing bleeding this far out from surgery.

I see you had a TLH, so I am assuming you had your cervix removed?? If that is not the case, and you kept your ovaries, there is a chance that the bleeding could be what is known as a "mini period". However, if you did have the cervix removed, that would not be the cause.

I would definitely give your a call. I don't think it is very common to have bleeding that far out from surgery. You could have torn the cuff and you wouldn't necessarily know it right away. Please give him/her a call, just to make sure it is nothing to be concerned about.

to you. I hope it is nothing serious!!
