vaginal bleeding

I am 4 plus years post op and for some reason that nobody seems to be able to explain I am having vaginal bleeding. Sometimes it's just slight spotting but sometimes like today I bleed through my pants! When I had my hysterectomy they removed the top 1/2 of my cervix and cauterized the rest. My test results have all come back normal. My insurance company will not cover surgery to determine the reason behind the bleeding because there isn't a code for unexplained vaginal bleeding of a post hysterectomy woman whom is pre-menipausal. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind when it happens. Any one else having issues with bleeding?

Re: vaginal bleeding

if you have an ovary and some cervix it could be a mini period. If you do a search on here I know I've read a bunch of posts that women have been surprised to still bleed on a cycle. Even a small bit of cervix is enough for spotting. Maybe start tracking when it's happening?

Re: vaginal bleeding

I've had the same problem, almost 6 years post op, although mine is more spotting than bleeding. I had a partial and still have my cervix and ovaries. I've had infrequent spotting but have had it twice now within a month. I'm wondering if I should try to see a dr or if this is normal? Anyone?
