Re: Last period ever!

cathb911,
That is a great idea. I have to admit it was frustrating and embarrassing to start when I was at my grandmothers. She hadn't kept any. It actually was what started me carrying supplies with me every were I went. Thanks for the great advice.

Re: Last period ever!

I was suppose to start my last period ever on the 26 of this month but I'm late..like most of the time...i guess it's because I'm so worried and scared about the surgery...im really gonna hate it when it does finally start..that means stronger more painful cramps...a LOT OF BLEEDING AND CLOTS....it will be the last and the most hated period... And it will also make me want the surgery even sooner.....i been cramping since my last period but the cramps r getting stronger so I know it will be here soon.....omg so not ready for it either....

Re: Last period ever!

Ok I am 86 days from the castle (hehe the castle) and since I said out loud I was having the surgery Aunt flow has been giving me her all and all. I have gotten it for the 2nd time this month and it is hitting me like a BEAST. I have begun counting down the days until she and I must part ways. I just realized that I may have it during when I go into surgery as well. But reading your stories I would love to say good bye to her.

Thanks for that cheering up.

Re: Last period ever!

Omg its like 5 in the morning and I got woke up by my last period ever...cramps r killing me,my back hurts,my legs hurt, and I'm 5 days late.i should have started this past Monday but it decided to wake me up at 5am 4-5 days later.. I told ya'll I would hate this period more than others...and to top it all off I had to hunt down a tampon..i thought I had a half a box left from last month but no...i remembered real quick like I used a hole 30 count box..and the one I found is not the kind I need. Its a super and I need a super+..i always need those on the first 3 days I start...on the 4&5 day I don't bleed (still cramp)then on the 6&7 day I start again and that's when I need supers.and then I stop for a day a day and start again for 1-2 more days...and not only do I use all these tampons but I need a pantie liners or pads so blood don't get on my clothing...omg I hate this can't wait to not have to do this anymore...has long has I don't bleed like weirdly any more and don't have these major killer pains then it will be well worth it to get rid of my uterus...if not then o im gonna be so so mad...

Re: Last period ever!

I got through my " last period ever" reminding myself that this was the last one, and that my decision for surgery was totally justified!! I also used the opportunity to wear, blood soak, then throw away, some of my battle worn undies and pajama pants.( I had some ancient stained ones I only used at period time). It gave me a big smile each time I threw one of those newly blood soaked articles of clothing in the trash, saying to myself, " I won't be needing you anymore."

Re: Last period ever!

I would call the doc and ask for something really strong. I am 3 weeks post op, but my "fix" was 800 mg ibuprofen. It is a prescription. Your doc may have a better idea. I used to be In so much pain! I would take my ibuprofen and get a 4 shot latte to get relief.
