Re: losing it...

I once had to have an MRI done of my brain because I was having chronic migraines and I also had extremely low estrogen levels (my OB/Gyn suspected a pituitary tumor). After the MRI, my neurologist took a 3 week vacation! His office wouldn't answer my questions or let me meet with his partner doctor. I suffer from anxiety and was a nervous wreck. I called the hospital and found out that I had the right to see the report myself. So, I went to the hospital and picked up a copy of the report. I found out that I had a brain tumor, but not ad pituitary tumor. I freaked out even more because I didn't know what it meant. So, I called my family doctor and told him the whole situation and he agreed to let me bring in the report for him to explain it. Thankfully it was a benign, slow growing tumor that they don't expect to bother me until I'm elderly.

I share this story just because perhaps you can get answers from your family doctor or the hospital. Waiting is the worst.

lesions & blood vessels in my uterus

After what seemed like forever(11 days) since I had my scope done (and was told I need a hysterectomy) my gyno is back from vacation and I had my follow up today. After speculating for 11 days about what my finance was told after my scope I finally was told what the doc had seen when scoping me that he had never seen before. I have lesions and blood vessels inside of my uterus. I had an ablasion(unsuccessful) done 4 years ago so nothing should be in my uterus. Has anyone had this dx? He also said I have lesions on lesions on lesions throughout my abdominal as well as extreme amounts of endo. This week I should be called to schedule my TAHBSO. I was also told that the risk of complications regarding my bowels and bladder increase signiglficantly because of the extensive crape (I cant think of a better word) that has to be done. If anyone has any info on lesions & blood vessels in uterus or just any advice please let me know.

Re: losing it...Update: lesions & blood vessels in my uterus

What was found in your uterus sounds like adenomyosis, possibly worsened by the ablation you had four years ago.

Regardless, if endometriosis was found outside your uterus, you need to consider seeing a doctor who specializes in treating that condition. A hysterectomy is not a cure as I shared with you in the Endometriosis Support forum.
