Pee OUCH!

My surgery was March 9th. It was a TAH with the right ovary removed.

Last sat I went into emergency with horrible pain on my left side, we still don't know what it was or why it hasn't come back. But the reason I am saying that is because they tested my blood and pee, both came back fine. They also sent my urine for a 3 day test to see if they could grow some bacteria which came back normal.

When I have to pee its hurts, the fuller my bladder the more pain. Its a stabbing pain that makes my vision blur due to the pain. When I start to pee its hurts at first (again stabbing pain) then no pain. When I stop peeing I get one more last stabbing pain and then its over.

I'm not sure if I got a mesh, but I believe I did.

Is this normal? All urine tests have come back fine so I know there is no infection. I start week 4 tomorrow and wont be seeing my DR for two more weeks (I can go to a medicenter if needed). The ER had no idea what was wrong but because it was a weekend (its a small ER) they only had x-ray and nothing else.

Anyone had/have this happening? Its very frustrating. Thanks for any advice.

Re: Pee OUCH!

This doesn't sound normal. I had a mesh sling put in and I haven't had any pain when peeing at all. I think you should call your DR.

Yah thats what I am thinking too. I called my dr and got bumped to the 3rd, hopefully they can figure out what the heck is going on.
