Now take a mental and physical break. Treat yourself with something special.
Yes I need to do that. I had so much stress and axiety that my BP was up and my body desperately needs a break from that degree of anxiety. Thank you for your kind words.

Yes I will certainly keep posting the progress. Sometimes I wonder if anxiety is my new normal.

I will also be praying for those of you that I have gotten to know a little ... vonnie, sugar and spice and others. God bless you all.

Re: I am a mess

I am 2 months post op and 50 years old. I had a large fibroid and endrometriosis and a fallen bladder. I hated the biopsy the most so painful. I had a full hysterectomy. My biggest fear was getting a blood clot. I made sure daily I was up and walking after the surgery.
Looking back I was very impatient and scared of the unknown, but thanks to this site for helping me thru every step of the way.
I feel so much better and so glad I did have this done.... keeping you in my prayers. HUGS!!!

This is encouaging muffin. I won't know anything more until the my consult on the 24th. I know with this large fibroid that I will have to do a hysterectomy since I am postmenapausal. I don't know what to think yet.

I do like the idea of never having to worry about uterib or ovarian or cervical cancer but I am a wreak about the surgery.

So glad you are doing well and getting on with your life!

Re: I am a mess

Welcome !! I'm relatively new here myself. I know how you feel. Anxiety is terrible. My only advice would be "don't do what I did". I was told back in March that I needed the hysterectomy and I put it off and scheduled it for May 17th for various reasons. I have done nothing but worry about it since. LOL If you do end up having to have the hysterectomy, schedule it soon so you won't have to ponder over it long like I am. Try to calm down. I have read alot on here and it doesn't seem to be a bad as I have made it be in my mind. I have been told by several friends that I will feel so much better afterwards and that I will never regret the decision to have it. Here's wishing you all the best ! We are all here if you need to vent !!! HysterSisters is a great community to be in. You are loved here !!

Thank you so much butterflies. I think your advice is very good. I was such a wreak about the D&C and camera scope that I lost 16 pounds in a short time and cried and was just in a terrible place. I know I will struggle again with the upcoming surgery.

I will certainly need the ladies here and I do hope to be of help to others as well. Thank you!
