Dear Not Brave,

You DID IT and now it is OVER!! I am so glad to hear your good report; a real answer to all of our prayers. God is SO good, merciful and the great healer. We will continue to be here for you if you do need a hysterectomy for the large fibroid. Do get plenty of rest now.

Hugs and Best Wishes,
Over the moon

Thank you NotBrave you're always so sweet even when you've got so much on your mind. I am always here for you, whenever you need to vent or get reassurance. I understand how hard this is!

Re: I am a mess

You all are the best!

For now I just have to wait. The doctor game my husband pictures after the D & C and camera scope. She wrote on the bottom "endmetrium looks normal with one small polyp". She removed the polyp during the procedure. I keep looking at those pictures and what she wrote whenever I start worrying about the path report.

While I am waiting I would like to be praying for others here. Please let me know if there is something heavy on your hearts.

God Bless !

Re: I am a mess

NotBrave, I agree with mlb5683 you are very brave! So glad you got through it and had a good outcome. Now you will go through the next step and you will be fine.

I have my 8 week appointment with my doctor next week and I am very nervous about it especially if he does an internal exam. Everything just seems so sensitive now. Most women here say it doesn't hurt, just uncomfortable, but I will be glad to get it over with. I worry about whether everything has healed internally. Guess I will find out next week. The waiting is hard for me too.

I hope you have a restful night.

Re: I am a mess

Nonna, I just had my 8 week and it wasn't bad at all. I felt a little pinch where I was cut internally but no big deal.... you will be fine.

Re: I am a mess

((HUGS)) I am here for you as I need people for me right now too! I am going through something similar. I have a 20 cm mass that is going to be removed along with everything else any minute now. I am in limbo because I got the flu in between my biopsies Monday and my CT scan tomorrow. My first gyno visit, had a week lag in getting back test results. I had an elevated ca125. Nobody called for another week to give me that number, then I was sent on to a Gyno/Onco who has been a breath of fresh air!
She called me with my cervical and endometrial biopsies in 24 hours when she said it would be 3. I have no signs of cancer in my cells so we are gong to proceed with a total hysterectomy and hope for no surprises. The suspicion of Ovarian cancer has not been completely tossed out so like you, I am just sitting here trying not to think of the worst and focusing on all the good.
There is nothing, I have discovered, like really thinking your life is on the line. My friends and family have covered me with a love umbrella, it helps so much, I know that until it is all over I will not rest completely but lean on your friends, family and this board as heavily as you want to or need too. You are in the right company for comfort and understanding.

ETA I am having the "old fashioned" kind of surgery too. I wish I was able to have it another way because it seems it is much easier to recover from and less possibility of complications.

Re: I am a mess

Pcar we will be praying for you too. I know the feeling. This lump in my saliva gland needs to be biopsied. Even though they said the sonagram was clear. They dont know what it is. Life seems to take on a whole new meaning. Funny how we dont care so much about things when we have these issues. Im sure you will be ok and you are proably holding your breath. Like me but we serve a mighty god. And in these times. of fear and doubt he is there. Fear not my friend. For he will never leave you or foesake you.
