There is much being said. I am very glad several of you did so well and can tell the rest of us that the waiting was the worst but I guess the bottom line is that it is so hard to believe the waiting is the worst.

I think if I can just get thru the first week I'll make it. Horrors still fill my mind as to how that is going to be. The time in the hospital brings all sorts of scary things to my mind and then the first few days at home. HELP !!!

After all they are going to cut me open and take a bunch of stuff out! HELP !!! HELP !!!

I think I lost my cool : |

Re: I am a mess

Deep slow breaths......Down to your belly. Close your eyes. Repeat after me....."I am strong" "I can do this" "I will be ok". Say it all 3 times. Keep breathing. (((((Hugs)))))

Re: I am a mess

Me too not brave today is biopsi day funny I just had one but this time im feeling a lil panick too. Breathing and praying it will pass. I think when I stay busy it helps. It will be over soon. I forgot to mention they give you ativan before surgery so you will be very calm if not asleep before it even happens lol

Re: I am a mess

Well in 5 hours they'll be wheeling me in. I'm exhausted from trying to do every last minute thing today and yet and here politely on the toilet because the clean out drink just kicked in--LOL!!!
I'm in good spirits though. I managed to beat my red devil out of her last date and I'm tickled about that. I was supposed to start my cycle two days ago and my body managed to hold her off - yay!
My surgery time is 6am so I doubt I'll sleep any. Still have an enema too look forward to here in a bit. But I truly look forward to posting one week from tonight how it feels to be 6 days post op. Thank you topchef

Re: I am a mess

I am hanging in there but just barely. I am doing all I can not to think about it. I have my pre-op hospital visit on Friday and they will most likely scare me.

Will I really find this less awful than my imagination? Wait that means it will still be awful, just less awful. Oh I am soooooooooo Not Brave !

I long to be 2 weeks post op. 3 weeks? 6 weeks?
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: I am a mess

I feel ur anxiety notbrave, I m still waiting for my call from drs. Office to tell me when this is all happening, you would think that the drs. Office would know and understand the anxiety that goes on with the wait, waiting is the worst. Friday will be two weeks since I saw the doctor and was told it would be 2 or 3 weeks til surgery. if I could just know the date I think a lot of the anxiety I am feeling would go away. Good luck on Friday, we will all be thinking of you. Keep us posted.
