Everyone is different on this. I was to expect discharge for 6 weeks! I did bleed some, but not alot. Most of my discharge was clear or yellowish. All normal. I did wear a pad for six weeks - one of those thin maxis did the trick for me.
I would change it usually twice a day.

Have pads on hand - they will also send you home with them.

NotBrave -

You are almost there, sweetie. I hope you enjoyed your day today. Tomorrow is your prep, but also keep yourself busy as possible. And, spend time with family and friends.

I remember DH was working on the day before my surgery (I took it off from work) and then he came home early. That was really nice.

Your date is almost here and we are all here for you. It will soon be over and you'll feel so much better, knowing your surgery is over! Recovery will then be the name of the game and I will pray you do well during and after your surgery the 31st. Let us know how you did when you are able. We all care!

And remember to be praying for kmb080701 today. I pray her surgery is routine with no complications, that she will feel ok after with the help of the pain meds and that she will heal quickly. I also pray many friends will help them since they have no family. God bless her and her family!
Notbrave, you brought tears to my eyes, thank you so much. I made it!!!! Surg lasted 3.5 hours everything went well. I have to be honest with you I am in a lot of pain, I had a lot of adhesions so they did a lot of work in there. Take care of yourself today, relax and before you kno it u will be done and over with it. Thank you again for all your kind words and prayers
