Robotic Hysterectomy rectocel and vaginal slingback

My surgery was on March 27th was done Robotics assisted Vaginal removal. 6 hour surgery 4 hour recovery afterwards. First day after surgery I was sore in the stomach but able to handle the pain pretty good. Never was that bad. Still today I'm taking over the counter ibufrone (did I spell that right?) What I will say was the Vaginal Slingback was the tougher of it. Seems that my bladder didn't wake up all the way before I was released 24 hours later and had to go home with a cathetur for 2 days. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I went to the urologists office 2 days later they removed it after they tested to make sure the bladder was emptying on its own. I wanted to cry when it started working on its own. Nothing makes you feel worse when you can't properly wash and I felt just gross during that time frame on top of not being able to sit anywhere comfortably. So today do I feel lucky. . . yes. Right now I'm feeling no pain I'm getting in short walks and I feel like the parts of my body fixed are working like they should be now and I'm thankful to have gotten to feel that way. Do I feel bloated in the stomach yes. I'm only 5days from that surgery and I'm am oh so glad to have gotten past it. Just passing the time when I can begin to exercise again and get rid of the weight I think I'm going to gain by sitting still. But I have to constantly remind myself that I can't pick up things or do things. It's a ongoing battle because of the pain I don't have. Good luck to all my hyster sisters going through this. Each one of us unfortunately will have a different experience. I wish you all could have the same as I had.
