Tomorrow's the Day!

Well, tomorrow I go in for my TAH BSO. I guess if I could make it through all this waiting stuff I can make it through anything.
Special thanks to all the ladies in the chatroom. I'm still a train wreck, nervous as can be, but at least I know that tomorrow it will be over and I can concentrate on resting and recuperating.
I'll try to check in on the chat today on my lunch break to say hello.
Thanks again. Looking forward to giving up the title of Lady in Waiting to become a full fledged Princess!!

I'm having surgery tomorrow too...

I am new to this site and very excited to know there is such a wonderful support system in place. My surgery is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. tomorrow. I hope to have only the uterus removed, and leave the ovaries and cervix intact. The reason for my surgery is a large and rather troublesome fibroid that has already sent me to the emergency room once for extremely heavy bleeding, dehydration and low blood pressure. I have been anemic for years and long for the day when I have lots of energy again.

Although I have had 3 c-sections in my lifetime, this has still un-nerved me quite a bit, and I find myself getting rather nervous as the time grows near.

the big day

I wish you the best of luck tomorrow. I will send up a quick prayer for you as I go in as well (tomorrow is my day too, and I'm as crazy as a loon today). Take care, pamper yourself and enjoy your journey to being a full-fledged princess!

Tomorrow's the Day!

Well, the bag is packed, laundry is almost finished, and I'm totallly out of my tree! I seem to have one nerve left and the everything is getting on it.
I found out I go in for 7 AM. Good luck to Packer and bookchick. I'll keep you in my prayers too. I'll look for you both in about a week, when we'll be sporting shiny new princess crowns!

Tomorrow's the Day!

Good luck to both of you too! My surgery isn't until afternoon, and I guess it's a good thing...I'm not even close to being done with packing or laundry! I've had such an awful week...my nephew committed suicide and the whole family is in a total state of shock. The funeral was yesterday and I've been running around for the past four days babysitting my niece's children and helping with the funeral dinner, etc. It has kept my mind occupied, (but such an awful thing to have to come to grips with...if one ever can), but now it's like I have to totally shift gears and get my mind prepared for tomorrow.

I will keep you both in my prayers and I do appreciate your prayers. I know we will all come through great and feel better than ever in no time!
