Going in on April 10

Im a little unsure about this whole thing Im going in on April 10 to have a TAH and a bladder repair Im only 30 and have a very busy lifestyle . I have 3 kids and they are all in sports. So can anyone tell me what I ave to look for ? How long am I going to be layed up and how long it takes for the surgery .

I go on on the 10th too. Im 29 with two kids.. I could not tell you how long will it take for surgery. But for me Im not planing on leaveing my house for 2 weeks less if I have a check up.. I will not drive my self for 6 weeks... Good luck to you

The longer you let yourself heal the faster you can get back to your life. I am 6 wks post op. I started driving a little at 4 wks post op and this wk I go back to work part time. I have not lifted anything yet! I slept a lot the first couple of weeks. Everyone is different. Listen to your body. Eat healthy! My husband and daughter have been doing all the housework and cooking dinner. It was hard to sit around and do nothing but you need to heal. Good luck. Hugs from the other side.
