Butter: Glad it wasn't a UTI! (and, btw, I'm picky about my grammar too!)

DO NOT GO TO WALMART. I started laughing at myself because I have been determined to feel not just better, but really good, as fast as I can. And here I was about to overdo it.

Oh dear.. that's hilarious! Yesterday was my day 4 post op and I talked hubby into letting me go to Wal Mart with him to get Easter basket goodies. I figured it would do me good to walk around for 20 minutes or so.

It didn't hurt me, but I was SUPER tired afterwards and laid around the rest of the day.

I'm trying not to overdo it, but I have it in my head if I lay around too much, I'll get even more sore and get a blood clot or something!

Re: I spoke to soon!

My bladder hurt for quite awhile after surgery as well. My doctor told me I did not have a UTI, but told me I could take UriCalm to help with the pain. It did work!! You could call your doctor and see what he/she thinks.

Take care!

Re: I spoke to soon!

Butter,

My bladder is out of wack as well...so Doc put me on anti-biotics to be safe and I take Pyridium which helps ALOT. It eases pain and spasm and turns your urine a lovely shade of orange!! I agree with you on the Percocet...it isnt working like it used to I am so bored...hope you feel better! I just sent DH out with the kids to do errands...I am going to take a well-deserved nap! Happy Healing!!

Wow KynKari - at 4 days post op! I wasn't nearly there, then.

But, I had the exact motivation ("just for easter things and right back out") the other day.

Hope you keep healing weel
