Re: leg feeling wierd

The first few days after surgery my right thigh felt as though it was asleep - then as I was sleeping at night I would get very intense 'electric shocks' in my thigh muscles that would wake me up.
The 'shocks' have stopped, but I still feel as though my thigh is asleep most of the time. There is more and more tingling as time goes on, and less total numbness, so I am hopeful that it will continue to improve.
I asked at my 2 week checkup and was told it was from the anesthesia, but seems very strange to me.
I go back again in 3 weeks, so I will follow up with my Dr.

Re: leg feeling wierd

Yes, I have looked on the internet and it seems I have developed restless leg syndrome... electric shock like sensations making me have to move my legs to get relief. It keeps me up at night and I have only been able to sleep by constantly taking 2 tylenol and 3 advil together.

I am having hormones checked, hoping for some answers.
