I had fever/chills too but nothing like that. My temp was around 100.7F for a few days. 103F is really bad for anyone at anytime. Go to the ER!

Update: confirmed small abscess formation above the vagina on the cuff. Scan also showed that I had possible blood clot in my ovary. It was confirmed today with MRI. so now I continue antibiotics and scan again to check if the abscess heals. And now I have to get on warfarin and also do self injections of lovenox for a few days to see if it can help the clot disapate..dr said therapy can take 3-6mons!! Ugh..
She tells me that these conditions are quite rare so they'll need to consult radiology and the anticouag. Pharmacist to see what kind of therapy to keep me on.
Things are so crazy, I'm so tired of going to the medical office everyday for scans and tests and medicines..its just crazy. Blessings for those who have little to no complications after surgery!

That does not sound good at all I'm sorry you are having such a rough time! I hope that there will be no more "excitement," and that the rest of your recovery is uneventful!
