Finally have my surgery date!

I have been waiting on my letter from the doctor with my surgery date. I'm still waiting on the letter but had the office fill out my leave paperwork for work and discovered the date is May 22. It would have been my grandmother's bday so I take that as a good sign. It's two weeks later than what discussed and will be problematic for work but I don't even care anymore. I just want to be free from all the issues these crazy periods have caused through the years. I see my internist next week to get medical clearance. She had me do some cardiac testing so I'm hoping all of that turns out OK. So I'm just counting the days and trying to keep my energy up since I'm still receiving iv treatments for my anemia.

Re: Finally have my surgery date!

I know what you mean about getting a date and all that matters is that you feel better.
I felt the same way. All I cared about is stopping the pain.. I feel tons better now and I would not have changed a thing.
Good luck...

Re: Finally have my surgery date!

I am glad you finally have your surgery date

Also, your work will figure it out - your health is what is important here. Fingers crossed on your anemia improving and your cardio working out.

(((Hugs))) to you...
