2 days and nerves kicking in

well got 2 days to go, Thursday is going to be here way to fast. I noticed that i have been walking around like a chicken with my head cut off. I know i should be doing something though. I also cant wait for the nervous eating to stop too.

I go in to see the Dr. today for the final visit before my trip to the castle. I hope it goes well.

Thank you for listening while im venting.

Re: 2 days and nerves kicking in

I'm a bit of a mess too. I wish I could just go now and get it over with, since I'm not sleeping, eating and can't get my mind off of it.

I'm sure everything will go well today for you, but best of luck anyway.

Re: 2 days and nerves kicking in

Ok ladies find all of my posts and know that when I wrote all off them I truly meant every word! Now being on the other side I can say it was justified but unnecessary! You, just like me, will be just fine! I am getting right now but I have had menstrual cramps way worse then this
Keep busy, stay away from negativity, read my posts, read other posts, both pre op and post op and you will find that in most cases EVERYONE has had a bout with nerves and then came back to say it was the best decision she ever made!! I know it was for me!

I completely agree.

Ladyfuji- how long did your surgery take? I would also like to wish you a speedy recovery.

I could ask you to relax, but I am sure that is easier said than done. I am four months post-op today! It has been good so far. You will be done soon as well - just look ahead . Oh, my doc also gave me a sedative the night before, so that I would be relaxed and well rested the morning of the surgery. It was over before i realized it! So do ask for one if they don't offer you one.

I would say that the surgery took about 1 hour and 45 mins. I went in at 8am precisely and while my eyes were out of focus (having difficulty breathing...totally nothing to do with the surgery, but the fact that the nurse in recovery was an idiot and answered my first question: was the doctor able to save my ovaries? INCORRECTLY!!! And I had a panic attack!! Spoiler: He was and did!) and when I asked for the time, it was 10:25am.

Re: 2 days and nerves kicking in

I go the 28th and I will be ready. At this point, if I do too much pre-op lifting, then the bad ovary lets me know.

Of course, everything seems to be about lifting, so I am getting a preview of the post-op too.

I made my best banana cream pie ever. The thought of clear liquids made me want a treat this week since next week will be low fat!

So my pre-op list is shorter than it was yesterday.

I can't believe that happened and I'm so sorry to hear about it. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Once again, the fact that you had surgery YESTERDAY and are here posting is very reassuring.
