Best wishes to you as well. Soon you will be healed and this time will become a memory. I keep focusing on that thought to give me strength.

I am sorry you never got the chance to have children.

Re: Scheduled for April 27th and nervous.

Did a lot of cleaning and laundry yesterday. Trimmed my hair, and did all the girly eyebrow plucking and stuff. We took the kids swimming. I called the hospital with some questions, and sent letters to family.

I did some extra errands today and got some chicken broth, beef broth, jello, and Gatoraid for my clear liquid died the day before surgery. I am trying to stay busy and for the most part it's helping, but I still find my self thinking and worrying a lot.

I did find out that my Husband will be allowed to stay with me over night in the hospital, so that is comforting.

I am was so happy to hear that my mother in law and sisters would take turns staying with the kids for us.

Re: Scheduled for April 27th and nervous.

Just had my surgery on 4/12 and while I understand you are scared, arm yourself with knowledge, it will take a lot of the fear away and prepare you. I had a great experience with my procedure and being now 8 days out....it wasn't near as bad as I thought. My "swelly belly" has been the worst of it for me. And the pain hasn't been as bad as I suspected. That's my experience and I know everyone is different but you will come out on the other side, feeling better and being able to live your life to the fullest. I should have done it a lot sooner!

Re: Scheduled for April 27th and nervous.

Sleep gets harder as the day gets closer, but I manage to rest enough. Though I have strange dreams all night.
Tomorrow, liquid diet all day, magnesium citrate, and no food or drink after midnight.
