surgery date and type changed

my dr decided to refer me to a gyno oncologist to see if he could come up with a better way to perform the hysterectomy since i was scared of the abdominal surgery she had scheduled due to being high risk for surgery. he reviewed my case and i am having the less invasive da vinci robotic surgery may 4th. he said the pathology will be done while i am under anesthesia and if cancer cells found then my lymph nodes removed at the same time. the other dr would have had to wait a week for pathology then send me to someone for an additional surgery. this less invasive option has helped calm my nerves a bit.

i am so happy to be having that done instead of the abdominal cut since i am overweight and was afraid of all they would have to cut. now i just hope the biopsy results are ones to be happy about too. good luck to you and hope all goes well.
