Very crampy ... is this normal?

I on day 9 post op. Total Hysterectomy as wellnas bladder lift. and have been doing really great. Tonight I must say I'm very crampy bad If I didnt know better I'D SWARE I was ovulating however we know thats imposssible lol, so im laying here with a heating pad on my belly and then switching it to my back. I popped a vicodin and abuprofin but am really sore in the abdomen...is this normal. And no im not constipated ive been doing great there thanks to stool softeners and miralax, Thanks

I am so sorry you are crampy! I experienced that after my second surgery and am dealing with that now and it's been 1 month after my 3rd surgery!! I talked to the doctor about it and he said that it is normal. It could be due to the internal stitches and all that is healing inside you. If you are concerned about it don't hesitate to call your doctor's office and talk to a nurse. After my 2nd surgery LSH-BSO, at about the time I would have been getting my period I was really crampy; but thank God I don't have those anymore!! I have also been dealing with painful kidney pain! I hope you start feeling better really soon!!
