Surgery 1-18-02

Hello Everyone, it is getting closer and I am getting more nervous. I still have a few days before and I am just consumed with surgery thoughts. I hold my son even tighter and longer, as I watched him play with his cars last night I prayed to please bring me back home to be with my son and husband. I love my life and still want to live for a long time. I appreciate everyones prayers and I appreciate all of you ladies for such a wonderful site. I can't wait to post my post-op results.

Thank you Sisters

Good luck to you. I am now 6 days post-op and feeling wonderful. I replied to one of your posts before, I was scared to death of the general. Well guess what, they didn't give me a choice. I sailed easily through the procedure and I'm sure you will too. Now I'm on the hard part - recovery. I can't seem to sit still.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers and keep me updated.

Dear Janifer:

Whew-- those pre-op thoughts that just cycle through one's mind. They make waiting the worst.

I can relate, as my eyes would mist up everytime I looked at my son in the last few days pre-op. I had all the fears running thru my head, and making sleep difficult. I even thought of cancelling...

But then I received my pre-op wishes from hyster systers, and that restored some calm. : Still had a restless night the night before, but when I arrived at the hospital, I recalled all the others whose hyst stories I'd read, and it all seemed so familiar for me.

All the best to you as you visit the castle. And I'll be awaiting YOUR story.
