Iam 42 Years old.Ihad a total abdominal Hysterectomy on 12/10/01.This was my 3rd Pfannenstiel incision. My Dr. drained abig seroma 3weeks ago.My incision still hurts.MY Dr. told me to use Mederma cream.Iwas supposed to back to work on 1/28/02 but Iasked him for another week.I work in Surgery and Iam on my feet all day long.Ihad a lot of adhesions from ac-section and endometriosis. My Dr. usually only does a single layer closure, but Iasked him to also close my muscle.Ihad a lot of pain from this. What else could I use on my incision thank you Petra

To Tracy H

Yes Tracy, mine was an abdominal one. The Dr removed everything except for my left ovary which is healthy with no sign of endrometriosis around it. We are hoping the endro will not come back but it could. We just felt it was better to try leaving the one ovary so my body can produce it's own hormones.

Mine will also be abdominal, I hope I will recover as quickly as you did. I will be keeping both ovaries. I hope that doesn't mean the endo will come back though.
