Yep been there dun that

My DH was pretty much being selfish too. But he waited until I came home from having a TAHBSO. I was by DR's orders to take it easy for at least 6 weeks. The same day I got home I started cooking and picking up around the house because my DH thought that since I was home that I should be doing something besides sitting in bed and recovering. I finally just broke and screamed at him to start doing something besides complaining about what wasn't being done by me. I also have a 12 1/2 yr old daughter and a 15 month old son. So DH was also having to take care of them. Just one more reason for him to complain. But he finally realized that I was not going to do it all and he was going to have to help. My daughter did too. She took some of the suppers that I had already precooked before surgery and made them dinner. I guess that it just took me losing my cool for him to realize what I had been through. Good luck and if you need to talk just email me.
