I got good news!!
I had my cone biopsy on Friday and wasn't expecting to get results until this Friday...but the doctor called me last night at 8pm. My husband had fear in his eyes when he handed me the phone and said, "It's Dr F". I got on the phone with hands shaking, heart pounding.
There was no cancer in the biopsy sample! They got all of the cancerous cells with the LEEP that I had in November! He said there was some dysplasia (which was completely removed with the biopsy) and he said that it's likely that was cells healing from the LEEP.
I completely broke down crying. I feel like I can live again. My life has been taken off of "Hold". I do have to go back for paps every 4 months until I have a two year history of good paps - but for now I'm celebrating!
We're planning our Vegas trip - thinking about the Venetian.

I can just imagine your fear with him calling at 8 at night and sooner than you were expecting the results...Whew!!!! So happy for you!!

Congrats!!!! That's awesome news. It's a really scary thing (speaking from experience here) waiting for those test results. Good luck with your continuing treatment (the 4 month check ups), I wish you the best! Have fun in Vegas!
