The dreams are in full swing...

I need to vent this so I can get on with what's left of my day.

Last night I had a dream that started with me rubbing my swollen belly and explaining to someone that the tubal ligation I had repaired itself and I was now pregnant and in labor.

I kept my hand on my belly feeling for contractions, then my water broke! My uterus slid out, so I did what every woman should do when their uterus slides out... wrung it out!

I checked into the hospital which was dark, dingy and chaotic (apprehensions of hospital stay). No one payed attention to me, just stuck me in a bed. I had no ID band on (that's from reading the pre-op visit posts) and I kept wandering around asking "where's my band?"

The dream quietly faded away. It wasn't all unpleasant, just weird.

I know everyone goes through the dream phase. I wonder what's in store for me tonight!

thanks for the vent,
Carole

Dreams

Wow, I am glad to read that other people are having crazy dreams -- I am 2 weeks pre-op (2-11-02) and have the weirdest dreams. I have dreamed every night for the last few weeks something to do with a baby (either I am pregnant or have a new baby in my arms). I had a tubal ligation 7 years ago and knew that was the end of my "baby" days -- so I am wondering why these dreams. DH says it is probably because this is really a major surgery and the end to all my problems.

Just happy to read that I am not totally crazy --- although this waiting thing is getting me closer and closer everyday.

Thanks for the wonderful words or encouragement and prayers -- you are truly sisters!!

Angie
