Welcome

Hey Lisa,
You have come to the right place for answers. Keep on reading and soon you will feel better about your impending surgery. No one can tell you when the time is right for you to go thru with this, but, we can help ease some of your fears. I am 5 weeks 2 days post op from a tah/bso and I feel wonderful. I never thought of myself as losing anything that was a useful part of me , rather, I thought of losing a part that was keeping me from being all that I could be! As for post op pain all have different pain tolerance but I can honestly say that it was a breeze compared to pre op discomfort of flooding and horrendous cramps. The thing I found most helpful was keeping a positve attitude! Stop in chat and talk a while as the ladies there are a great source of info as well as support.
